Recently a Professor of Banaras Hindu University announced his plan to undertake a study of the behaviour of voters to understand why such aggression among public leading to slapping incidents.
“We are fighting against forces which are extremely powerful. We cannot fight them with money alone. We have taken on big business houses and political parties. They are not going to keep quiet. In the coming days, the attacks are going to be more dangerous. I have come to know that they will stay quiet during the elections, but once the elections are over, the real attacks will begin.”
- Arvind Kejriwal, AAP Convenor

"The exact reason will come out only after the study, but I think that Kejriwal is targeted frequently because public anger finds an easy way of expression. Such incident is not possible with leaders like Narendra Modi or Sonia Gandhi as they are highly guarded."
- Dr AP Singh, Deptt. of Psychology, BHU

Meanwhile the Delhi Police Commissioner B S Bassi has asked police personnel to conduct a thorough probe to ascertain if the attacks on Kejriwal were motivated by or linked to any party.
