WHO TO BE BLAMED, IF NOT LEADERSHIP

In this moment of the calculations of the exit polls, the Congress party has made a call to unite secular forces to join hands. However, the party is in ‘wait and watch’ mode, but the speculation has made it restive. Simultaneously it wants to project itself as prepared in this crucial (?) juncture.
However, Congress leader Rashid Alvi has suggested all the regional secular parties to unite to keep BJP out of power. The oldest party of the country has even suggested to elect TMC leader and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee as their leader. The prowess of the party is at stake now. These developments genuinely reflect the poor performance of the party.
Whilst discarding the exit polls’ prediction, the party leader has said the scene would be clear after the results. The call of the Congress leader has brought the peril of the party to the fore. There might be upside down situation and the Congress might succeed in changing the game, albeit by a slight margin. In this regard, the party might make a right strike at the right moment which it has done several times in prior. Despite the horrible situation, it would not be fair to turn a blind eye towards Congress. However, it can’t be denied that HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF. “Whether the Congress conquers the electoral battle or loses it, we all shall be responsible for the credit or discredit. It will be injustice for anyone to only blame the leadership of Congress,” says Congress leader Rashid Alvi.
