Not long ago – Mamata banerjee shocked UPA when she announced her party’s exit from ruling coalition at centre over FDI and Diesel price hike.
Now, Mamata has received a shocker from centre. This is in form of a formal letter from a Union Minister to the Chief Minister of West Bengal and now available on Facebook.

Mamata Banerjee writes on her official facebook wall:
I am sharing a copy of the letter dated 19.10.12 received from the Union Minister of Rural Development. You would be shocked to see the attitude of the Central Government towards the State of West Bengal.

I would invite your attention to Para 4 of the letter uploaded. The statement is clearly vindictive, unethical and unconstitutional. I am really stunned to see that a Union Minister can write a distasteful statement like this to a State Government.And, here is the text from the said letter.

“Under Central Government schemes like MGNREGA, Govt. of India funds are released to all the states for implementation of the scheme. Releasing funds for the Central schemes is not a matter of charity. This is a pure governmental activity,” adds Mamata Banerjee.
Recently, Mamata Banerjee commented: “A brain-dead patient can be kept on ventilator.”
